Clock Auction

• Bidding Registration: We manually approve all new bidders, which may result in a delay, possibly a few hours, between registration and your ability to place bids, especially for registrations made overnight or on weekends.

• Note about Yahoo / AOL Email Addresses: Please be aware that if you use a @yahoo.com or @AOL email address, you won't receive our outbid notifications and invoices. Yahoo doesn't even send these to your spam folder; they simply do not deliver them.  AOL usually sends into your Spam folder. Emails about upcoming auctions come from a different server and usually arrive as expected.

• Inspection Period / Preview: Sunday, February 25th, 3 pm until 6 pm. 
  • Note: please dress warmly, the building is not currently heated, there are no bathrooms available.

• Ends / Closing Date: Bidding will end on Wednesday, February 28th.
  
  • • The first 3 lots will start closing at 6 pm, with 3 lots closing each minute afterward.
    • Bids placed within 3 minutes of an item's end time will extend the countdown by an additional 3 minutes.

• Pickup Details:

  • Items can be picked up on Friday, March 1st (by appointment only between the hours of 10 am and 2 pm). 
  • Additional pickup availability on Saturday, March 2nd, these are open pick ups (no appointment required) between 10 am and 2 pm.
  • The link to schedule an appointment will be in your invoice. You can access your invoice via the Account Menu.
  • Alternate pickups may be available if you are out of town for the weekend but want to bid - please reach out before bidding for details.

• Item Condition: Everything is sold "As-Is." We do not authenticate or guarantee any item. Typically, we lay items out on a table and take a few photos for reference. We do not extensively inspect for damage or missing parts. If an item is listed as "tested ok," it means it passed basic functionality tests but not full testing. Otherwise, assume items have not been tested.

  • We have added notes to some clocks whether that clock was running or not during our inspection. Note: we are not guaranteeing the condition of any clock in this sale. If we noted that we observed a clock running, please remember that we only spent a 1-2 minutes with each clock while we were photographing to assess. Many of the clocks also have a video attached, I'd recommend that you watch those videos where available to help you determine condition for yourself. I'd say that many of the clocks that we observed to be in running condition will still need work to get them in absolute perfect order. I'd also suggest that some clocks that we did not get running are just fine, but just needed additional effort and know-how on how to get them running.

• Payment, Fees, and Taxes:

  • There is a 5% Buyer's Premium fee added to all bills paid with a credit card, this fee is WAIVED FOR CASH payments.
  • We generally do not accept checks.
  • 6% Sales Tax will be collected where applicable.

• Shipping:

  • We do not ship in-house. For any information or for shipping quotes, please contact a local shipper directly, they must be able to pick up on our schedule as these items are not located in our facility. You are responsible for working with them and payment for shipping costs will go directly to them. You are welcome to call Pack N Ship of Aliquippa, PA, at 724.203.0406, as we have contacted them about this auction and they are willing to ship smaller clocks. They are not willing to ship Tall Case Clocks or any of the 3' Wall Clocks.
  • All invoices requiring shipping that exceed $300 may only be paid with Wire Transfer ($20 fee to cover our costs) or with Bitcoin.
  • All items are sold As-Is and in Present Condition as photographed, once picked up by your shipper, we carry no further obligations.
